Founded in 1999, Express Global Group has grown to become a leading player in the global freight forwarding industry. Originally the company Express Srl. was founded when Fratelli Cosulich Group, as part of a diversification of its offer, decided to establish a company dedicated to import/export customs operations and port services.
Express Global Group can offer a wide range of services, including air and sea freight, land and rail transportation and custom clearance.
The Group expanded through its M&A-based strategy. It has two other important brands under its umbrella. The first is Archimede Gruden, which is characterized by an experience of more than 100 years of history in the freight forwarder sector, and it is specialized in the transport of white goods and traffic from the Far East, including China and Hong Kong.
The second brand owned by Express Global Group is TPG EXPRESS, which is stems from the merger of TPG and Express Global Slovenia and plays an important role in the Adriatic area and South Eastern Europe.

TPG EXPRESS is also part of AEGIDA GROUP, founded in 2022, with its Headquarter in Koper, Slovenia.
AEGIDA Group was formed as a common identity for all member companies within the group which provides a full scale of services in Shipping, Logistics and Transportation business in the Balkan area.
AEGIDA is a Greek word, and is the first name for Koper as a Greek settlement. And Koper is the place where the journey with Fratelli Cosulich started.
In Greek mythology AEGIDA is also the name of the shield of Athena. And when you say "under someone's aegis" it means being under the protection of a powerful, knowledgeable, and kind greater source.
The shape of the logo also hints at a propeller, a vital device for boats and planes, representing the fundamental mechanisms that keep operations afloat and soaring.
